ABOUT THE COMPETITION

The PWC's P-Rex Story(P-Story) short story prize is an annual prize for an unpublished piece of short story. 

The prize for the moment covers the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria but we seek to cover Africa and the world in the no distance future. 

There will only be one winner who will claim the sum of

#8,000

[NOTE] for any entry to be entered into theP-Story short story contest, potential entrants are believed to have concurred to the rules.

5th May 2020

CLOSING DATE:

31st July 2020(11:59pm) 

[NOTE] no entry will be considered for the prize if entered after the closing date. 

ELIGIBILITY 

* Entrants must be at least 15 years by the closing date. 

* Entrants must be a citizen of the federal republic of Nigeria, but the competition can also be eligible to entrants leaving within the country borders.

RULES 

* Entries must not have been published in any form or social media platforms, in any literary magazine or anthology in any Indigenous  language of the federal republic of Nigeria until after the prize has been awarded. P-Story will communicate this on there social media pages and site. 

* Entries should be submitted as a document attachment 

 via the competition mail address: prexworldconcepts@gmail.com.

  The name of the file should be the original name of the story. 

* Entries should fall between the word count 1000-4000

* Entries should be written mainly in English, although exclamation or phrases in any indigenous language of the country is welcomed. 

* Entrants must include contact details in the mail submission(name,tertiary institution,phone number,etc ) but not in the document, no other personal information is required as entries will be judged anonymously. 

* Nationwide copyright of each story remains with the writer but PWC's P-Story will be granted right to publish stories on there site for promotional purposes. 

* The competition organizers will not be held responsible if any entry infringes the work of another published writer or author. 

* Entrants may submit a maximum of three stories, we seek to increase possible winning chances for all entrants. 

* Simultaneous entries are eligible as long as the entrants inform the organisers through there official mail address that there entries has been long listed, short listed  or selected for another prize or accepted for publication.
